Remote Control on Demand

Hello.

The bookkeeper from a company that I support moved to Florida.  I need to make configuration changes to her desktop and load some data.  I've seen support companies use web based remote control.  I use Log Me In for the most part to manage my personal machines, but this is something that I don't want to set up on her machine permanently. I'd rather send her a link through email to temporarily give me access to her Windows computer.

Can anyone recommend a remote control application that works in that manner?

Thanks in advance!

If you just need a single connection for commercial purposes, much as I hate to say it, you probably should look at LogMeIn or GoTo Assist.  If you're looking for remote control of a moderate amount of machines (8 or more) then I'd suggest a subscription to ScreenConnect - https://www.screenconnect.com/Pricing

For a modest one time expense, you can install Radmin Server (Famatech) on her machine, set up access for yourself, put Radmin viewer on your computer (free) and then you can log into her computer on demand (so long as it is ON).

I would also recommend Teamviewer, or even Webex.

I regularly use GoToAssist and it doesn't have to be left on the target machine.  In fact, the install can be set to remove itself when the session is over.
Teamviewer works too...
GoToMyPC works too...
etc.
