cannot disable Word proofing language

cannot disable Word proofing language
In word if I go to file/options/Language, there is only English US there
however when i go to Language/Set proofing language, I see other languages checked and I cannot unchek them.

Any help?

That the default language selection.

You have to select the other languages from below drop down list

Try... <<Select the language and click add>>

When I select Spelling & Grammar in word , in the right side a Spelling Panel will open up and on the bottom it Shows English(US), but if I scroll down to different pages in word, it will change to Spanish(Mexico)

select the entire document, select Review tab ―> Language group ―> Language ―> Set Proofing Language... ―> choose the desired language for the document and click OK

that should fix your problem
