Hi all we have an exchange 2010 server that has a large sized catalogue folder.

There are some older files dating back to August 2016 that are almost 30gb

Can these be deleted safely

Thanks

yes first take the full backup or copy whole files to other drive for a safer side, and then stop MS exchange search services then delete the catalouge folder and start the service. new catalouge folder will be created when you will start the service
