Move Apple account to different country

HI,

My wife and I have moved from the UK to Canada. My wife has an Apple account in the UK with a lot of music and apps. Setting up a new account in  Canada will lose all this as far as i am aware.

How do i move her account from the UK to  Canada?

Contact and check with apple. This will be your best option. It is best to get the answer from the horses mouth. They may have a mechanism to transfer purchased items. Did you use an email for the account that is no longer in your possession and that is the issue?

I agree. You will have to transfer and re-home the account. Apple will likely want you to back up your phone to their Cloud, re-set it up again and then restore data and apps.

By the way, I live in Canada and Apple Canada has set me up 3 times: new 4s, replace a drowned 4s and then recently a new SE. Nothing lost.

The issue deals with potentially apple account using an email in the uk to which access/eu boundaries might be the concern
I.e. Licensing there ....... Check with Apple.
Loss of access to uK based email account.

It would seem an iPhone, iPad, or iPod country settings is simple to change.

Changing an Apple ID account can be more complex, depending on original and new country.
