Lync 2013 and Skype for Business
Can someone explain the difference to me? Is one the client and the other referring to the backend?
Or is S4B just another name for Lync 2013?

Thank you. So, in Lync 2013 terms, what version is S4B? Like Service Pack 2?
and is S4B a client or server?
And what benefits of upgrading from Lync 2013 to S4B?

Skype for Business is just an upgraded version of Lync 2013.
There are two versions of Skype for Business, one is on premises version while the other is on subscription for Office 365.
