Can be achieved in many ways, but virtualization in Compute, Storage and Networking, e.g. a large Compute Cluster of many nodes, delivering silo-ed Compute, Storage and Networking to different companies - what I mean by that is you take a large lump of storage and split it up for different Companies, use of Virtual LANs (VLANS) to isolate different company network traffic, and splitting resources of Compute (CPU) into different Resource Groups.

All can be delivered using VMware vSphere

Quite simply you create container of resources, for each company to isolate or partition them.

Resource Groups in VMware vSphere allows you to define Total CPU and Total Memory per Group.

So basically if a Company purchases X CPU - GHz, and Y GB of Memory, you can define those fixed amounts and make sure that ALL their VMs, run in that space, not impacting other companies on the same platform.

thanks for your example, I know it may be out of perview, but I will be asked in interview, how you did it

is there any white paper or article or some examples you can give for a company which helped data consolidation and storage efficiency.

even small example will very much help me.
