A software upgrade kicked in on a users' Ipad a few months ago. After the reboot the users was prompted to enter the apple ID at the Activation Lock screen, the user does not remember the apple ID nor security question answers to reset it. I know in past with older Ipads i was able to reset it and connect to itunes but it seems to me that functions is no longer available with the new ios. Since the unit was associated with an icloud account it can't be reconfigured until it's removed from the account. Of course it's a catch 22 because she does not remember the icloud credentials.
Is there a way around this? I'd have to believe nothing can be done about it.
