Exchange 2010:  Admin gets a copy of all mail

Hi,

in this one installation of Exchange 2010 the Administrator account's mailbox receives a copy of seemingly every email received.  I have checked all over and cannot find the reason.  It seem it's been that way for a long time.
Does anyone have a hint where to look?  It looks like it should be in the receive connector, but I don't see an option like that there...

Thanks,
Ralph

Hi,

I would check journal mailbox (defined on database), to see if there is a redirection from it to admin mailbox.
or
I would check if there is a transport rule that is forwarding email to admin mailbox.

Regards,
Ivan.

Thanks, Ivan.  The relevant hint was "defined on database".
I looked all over for this one checkbox.
