Turkish DST Time Zone issue

Hello Team,

We have exchange 2013 and outlook 2013 clients

issue is , after Turkey has decided not to go in Day light saving, means as per standard it need to be UTC + 3:00 istanbul, but in owa for all users it showing as UTC +2:00 istanbul, we have done several testing from owa and because of this Calendar meeting time is affecting, meeting having differences of 1 hours.

I hope you aware of this known issue, as per microsoft, they suggest to release a patch in December by latest. but could you suggest any workaround we can suggest to users

Exactly same issue, we have updated the patch on exchange server , but still in owa regional setting it is not showing as UTC + 3:00 istanbul

You should still be able to use TZEDIT from Microsoft to change the time zone to your needs.

issue is only when making a meeting invite from owa, i dont see updated iformation for istanbul, it need to be shown as UTC +3:00 in owa timezone

OWA is on a server and that is where you need to adjust the time. OWA is not responsible for time zones, but the servers are.

on Servers, time zone is showing correct, But in OWA still it is UTC +2:00 for istanbul, we have also restarted the server too

But still no luck

Did you check client computers to make sure the time zone is correct on the client computers. If clients are correct and server is correct, I do not know why OWA would be wrong.

If you are doing everything correctly, then the incoming email and calendar invites must be off. Consider contacting the senders.

installed turkish DST patch on exchange server and client and it resolved the issue after restart of server
