Deleting duplicate contacts from Outlook Contacts folder

I was asked to "cleanup" Outlook Contact Folder that has duplicate records of the same contacts.
I suppose someone in the past "imported" or copied over the same contacts - creating duplicates.

There is almost 6000 contacts there now where half of it are duplicates.

Is there a quick way to delete the duplicate contacts that someone knows of? Not really eager to click highlight and delete 3000 times :)

If this was me commissioned for this job, I would export out all the contacts first. Then make a test profile and import without duplicates. Track the number differences. Outlook does a great job of taking away all the dupes. If you see that this worked well, then go back to the orig profile and delete the contacts and import in the good ones from the test. I do a CSV backup and PST backup just in case. Some folks are nervous about their contacts, categories, notes, etc.

I used the systool outlook duplicates remover - worked great - $29 is better than hours of deleting manually.
