Hi

I have an Excel VBA project that connects to a SQL Azure database using the following type of connection string. This works fine on my dev machine but when I try and run it on another person's machine I get the error mentioned in the header. Where would I find the relevant driver to fix this issue. I only seemed to be able to find software that I would have to pay for.

strConn = "Driver={SQL Server Native Client 11.0};Server=tcp:lesedisa.database.windows.net,1433;Database=xxx;Uid=xxxxx;Pwd=xxxx;Encrypt=yes;TrustServerCertificate=no;Connection Timeout=30;"

This connection string requires SQL Server Native Client 2012 to be installed. Alternative drivers and more info at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc280510.aspx. Possible connection strings can be seen at www.connectionstrings.com.
