Loading several PCs with the same Image (WIndows 7)
Hello Experts,
I am installing several new PCs. All PCs are have identical hardware. I have the first PC completely configured and updated to where I want it.
Now I would like to take an image of this completed Windows 7 X64 configuration from the first PC and apply it to the other PCs (of identical hardware) rather than going through the configuration process for each PC.
Can anyone tell me the best way to do this?
Thanks!

Do you have an m$ Volume License? You need a volume license in order to be allowed to deploy Windows to several PC's using a single image.

Yes i have purchased sufficient win 7 pro x64 licenses to register all pcs.
But do you have a Volume License? Windows 7 licenses alone aren't enough.
ASKER
No i did not buy a volume license because i am only configuring 6 pcs this go around - why won't valid individual licenses work with imaging?
