Citrix Session LogOut
Dear EE,
We have three citrix servers 7.6
1) Citrix Studio 7.6 (IIS Web).
2) Citrix Server were application is published.
3) Citrix Server were application is published.
we have another server where our WORKFLOW server is installed which connect the citrix users and take date from DB servers.
Now when users are working on the application it suddenly get prompt "Log Out you have been disconnected from the server" and users get disconnected from our application.
Can you please help us why this issue is occurring. As we do not have implemented any session out settings on Citrix server.
This message comes from our WKF server.
Thanks

Dear Joharder,
First of all thanks for your reply.
Do you have any timeouts configured, either within Active Directory GPOs or Citrix policies? In particular, the AD GPOs are located under Remote Desktop.
Netsol-Nos Reply:- There is no specific time set in the Citrix for the sessions. I do not know about the AD GPO's I will double check from the team and will update you. for Citrix Polices there is no specific policies configures except the one I attached as a screen short.
Run an RSoP for one of the users that is experiencing this issue to determine if it is indeed a policy issue.
Netsol-Nos Reply:- Can you please elaborate how can I run RSoP on the user machine.
It is also possible that your application has a timeout embedded within it. If a user is dormant for a period of time, it may log off the user. This is often configurable.
Netsol-Nos Reply:- Our application has a time out but we have disabled it problem is user were working on it when they face the error.(logout : you have been disconnected from the user) our timeout session triggered when user get idle for some time.
Thanks

While the domain admin is checking on the AD GPOs, have him/her run an RSoP.
Also, as a test, have a user open only an application that doesn't have the timeout issue. If the issue does not occur, then it is definitely application specific and likely lodged in the user profile.
On a XenApp server, open up the registry and do a search within HKUser for the app name and timeout setting within the various user profiles. There may be some clues as to if and where the timeout has been saved.

NetSol-NOS Reply:- RSop run, means team will run the RSoP on Citrix server or on AD server. Appreciated if you please confirm on which server I will ask team to run RSoP.

Netsol-NOS Reply:- There are only three applications on the Citrix 1) Our Application 2) Windows 3) Excel. User only use Our Application from Citrix side.

NetSol-NOS Reply:- Let me check this thing. I will search the app name under the HKUser.
