Print to Adobe - display/open printed page

I have Adobe X Pro. When I print a page as a PDF from Excel/Word - I used to be able to see the newly printed page opened/displayed right away on my screen automatically. Something changed and the newly printed page doesn't open automatically any more. I now go to the location where I saved the file and open it manually. I looked settings within Adobe everywhere and I seem not to find anything. Help.

Thanks much
Sam.

Hi Sam,

> When I print a page as a PDF from Excel/Word

What print driver are you printing to? If it's Adobe PDF, here are the steps to fix it:

Control Panel
Devices and Printers
Right-click Adobe PDF
Left-click Printing Preferences and you'll get this:

view pdf after printing
Tick the "View Adobe PDF results" box.

If you're printing to a different PDF print driver (such as Bullzip, CutePDF, doPDF, etc.), let me know which one.

Btw, what version of Excel/Word? Regards, Joe
