Hi all,

I'm trying to fill out a court form, and there is a field where they inputted text does not align with the field. I've tried all the freebie PDF readers (Sumatra, Foxit, etc.), and they all exhibit the same problem. The only programs that work are the expensive Adobe Acrobat Pro, or the bloated freebie version, which I don't like.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

The most likely reason is that they have set up the form incorrectly. If the form has been setup with Acrobat at the Originator's end the chances are that the field is not formatted correctly or in such a way that it is not correctly read by your freebie tools

I don't think there is much that you can do other than either use Adobe Reader or see if your freebie tools have the typewriter or similar function that simply allows you to overtype the PDF ignoring form fields.

I was afraid that was going to be the case. Thank you.
