Our network admin left and our router died.

Can someone point me to a quick 2901 setup?

We have the wan on gi0/0
The LAN on gi0/1

We want to use 10.0.1.1 for the default GW
And if possibles 10.0.1.100-253 for dhcp.

We have a hardware firewall so we are good there.

Any help would be appreciated

you will have to provide much more detail to understand what you need the router to do, including a diagram of where it will be in relation to firewall what it's purpose is and so on.

Thanks

so the ISP is connected to the firewall, the firewall is connected to the router, router is connected to the switch.

Basically we want to route traffic from the end user to the internet with a dhcp scope of 10.0.1.100-253 for the clients, the gateway of 10.0.1.1 and dns of google 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4.

There is not voice traffic so no QOS is needed and no firewall or security services.  Everything can be on 1 vlan.

Just a basic setup until we can get a new network person on staff.

I can give you the initial config but is there a reason the firewall can't do all of those services?

I do need to know the segment between the router and the firewall as well.

If my suggestion was the solution chosen even if it was to configure the router I believe it still solved the issue.
