Internet access from Within Hyper-V VM when host has no LAN

Dears

I have a laptop that has LAN and also WIFI.
I have installed on it Hyper-V (Windows 10 Pro)
I have some VM's that I work with (they are on removable HDD).
When I am in the office and hooked to the LAN I have no problem having my VM's accessing the "outside world" and therefore get also internet access.
My problem is that when I am travelling and mainly in hotels or offices when I am only given WIFI access, I can't seem to get my VM's have connection to the Internet.

Please help.

(The VMs are also WIndows 10)

The VM is connected to a virtual switch.  That virtual switch is connected to a PHYSICAL network interface - the LAN (cable) or the Wifi (wireless).  If it works at the office, then it's the LAN (cable).  If you want it to work while traveling, go into the switch settings and change the ethernet adapter connected to the switch to the wireless.
