Remote Server returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
I have 3 exchange 2013 Nodes running with CAS and mailbox roes installed .I have 5 databases for 5 departments .some of the users from some specefic department residing inparticulat database are not able to send email to some outer domain and getting these messages
Remote Server returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
i check the three nodes and find the logs Drives are full i deleted some of the logs and created a space in the log drives but still they are unable to send to outer domain.
ON one of the Node the Database Drive is full and i am not able to extend the Database drive as they dont have more space ,is it could be the reason but As other 2 nodes have the healthy copy of these databases so this should not be the reason.
Please guide me how to trouble shoot this issue

Hi,
Have you tested to send an email to same external domain from a user exists in any another database ? and what was the results , as i know there is no relation for the email flow and the no free space on the logs folder, you must have enough free space on the logs folder which will impact the DB performance and DB dismounting issues if there is no space, but it is not related to email flow.
So as other advised here check your domains reputation on MXTOOLBOX.COM and see if there are any black listings etc. and also check the destination domains reputation too some times their domain might also black listed which causes the issue too, and then verify your out flow to other domains as well.
see the link to verify your connectivity https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/
hope it will help ......
Best Regards,
MB Shaikh.

4.4.7 Persistent Transient Failure and Delivery time expired
how you delete logs ?
so in your case the it could be cause of database space... but you can check the connection to the remote server
check this article for checking email sending from command prompt...
