TSM Error:ANS0299E Scheduler cannot be started manually because the value of MANAGEDSERVICES option is SCHEDULE

Hi !
           After configuring a new client and schedule, i have the following error:

ANS0299E Scheduler cannot be started manually because the value of MANAGEDSERVICES option is SCHEDULE

Plus, i tried to delete the "MANAGEDSERVICES WEBCLIENT SCHEDULE" option from the  .opt file but when i try to save it , the message "access is denied" appears.

Please , any idea?

                I have 2 services:

TSM client Acceptor (currently stoped and in automatic mode)

Tsm client Scheduler (currently stoped and in automatic mode)


I tried to modify my .opt file again and the message "access is denied" appears again.

What could be happening?

might be a permission issue: try "run as administrator" to notepad and modify the opt file.
If it doesn't work you'll need to delete and recreate the schedule on client.
