Windows 10 powershell/cmd/bash alternatives?

I've gotten tired of the restrictions in the native windows shell windows, even PowerShell, and yes I know I can use PS, cmd, and bash all from one of the other but big features like ctrl + c and v are things I really need and miss form OSX (cmd instead of ctrl of course). I also have the issue of using a single shell app in that I look at what’s on the right side of the prompt not the left so I will use wrong commands because I forgot what mode I’m in. I have tried conEMU and its nice, the only thing I’d like it to do that it doesn’t is change color schemes depending on the mode/shell I’m using. It also seems like it’s using a lot of CPU power for it to just idle, .2-.5% per tab and when I have 4-10 tabs that adds up fast and makes a measurable impact on my batter life. So, the question is, can I reduce the cpu usage of conEMU? If not what are some similar featured and supported (high dpi sensitivity is a big thing for me), alternatives to conEMU and the built in shell apps?

Personally, I prefer copy on select and Shift+Insert for paste.
It's faster and supported by default in Putty and derivatives and can be activated in most Linux shells.

@mcKnife, the quick edit feature i am aware of but i dont want to have to use my mouth when im pasting, its annoying and inefficient to have to come off fire control and move my mouth to a place and right click when i should just be able to use my keyboard, thats one of the big reasons i started looking for other shells, that tabs and the "quake" feature which i sorely miss from iterm2.
@Dan that would work somewhat well for me except im mobile half the time and i dont have an insert key on my laptops keyboard.

Again conEMU is fantastic aside from its terrible cpu usage and therefore negative effects on my already not so great battery life. If have to ill just deal with it but id prefer to find a good alternative to it and the generic built in shell apps that dont have the features i need. Thanks for the input though guys, i do really appreciate it.
This was posted in the win10 section. In win10, you don't need the mouse to paste as I wrote before, CTRL-C/V works now.
It does in powershell but not if i go into bash.
bash? You installed the linux feature? Or are we talking about the cmd shell?
In the cmd shell, it works.
yes the WSL feature.
Sorry, I haven't installed that, but as I can read on stackoverflow, it works just the same, rightclick on the bash window title, select properties and enable quick edit. Also look for the section my previous link has highlighted.
Yes, quick edit works but it still requires me use my mouse. when im working in terminal/shell i dont want to have to take my hands off the keyboard paste something. plus like i said, there are other features too that i want such as tabs and "quake" mode. the basic built in apps just dont cut it, the point of this thread is to either figure out a way to reduce the cpu usage of conEMU or find another alternative that suits my needs.
