According to the specification manual, the native resolution of the monitor is 1366x768 and you should use native resolution .  It should be very clear at that size and resolution.

Aspect ratio is 16x9 wide screen.

Ok.  That resolution of 1366 x 768 is great.  I have another monitor that I use as well and it appears to have automatically corrected to a resolution of 1440 x 900 without a reboot or other adjustments.

Will see what happens when I connect it to the TV and to yet another monitor.  I'm trying to make moving between them all very seamless and easy.

Your Surface will use the native resolution of each monitor. You would have to test if it is seamless.

You can change the higher resolution monitor to 1366x768 and it should work. That will make changes seamless but non-standard resolution may not be totally crisp.

Thank you and good luck with the big monitor.
