How does this Identity Services relate to SOAP? WebAPI?

I am about to watch Web Services videos covering:

ASMX Web Services
WCF Web Services
WCF AJAX Web Services
WCF REST Web Services
WCF Data Web Services
FubuMVC Web Services
ServiceStack Web Services
Nancy Web Services

I am curious about how Identity Services relates to any of these topics.

I see OWIN does integrate with MVC5, so that is interesting.

Thanks.

It might be easier to assist you with an implementation of your specific needs versus answering broad questions.

Iis includes integrated authentication.
A .net application could use AD queries to authenticate user without directly exposing a DC to Internet client.
Ad fs, are other means as were references. Soap deals with a mechanism to exchange data securely.
Webapi.......

Your .net application could use radius Packets to authenticate/authorize user/access/functionality.
