Dell Sonicpoint Ne's not working after update

We have a fleet of about 20 Sonic Point NE's as well as about 8 of the Sonicpoint AC's and 8 of the Sonicpoint G's.  After a recent update to the sonicwall NSA4600 and the Sonic Points the Ne's no longer work.  The AC's and the G' do work.  If we connect the Ne's directly to the Sonicwall they work.  We use Cisco network switches.  Dell Support says it is the switches.  Cisco says it the Sonic Points.  I tend to think it is the Sonicpoints since the AC's and the G's work.  What surprises me is that we are not seeing anyone else on the Internet complaining of the problem.  Any thoughts would be helpful.
