Problem sending email from Gmail Alias with Outlook for Android

I'm trying to setup an email on Outlook on a Galaxy Tab.  This customer use a Gmail account, but never send emails from it.  He mainly use his alias email to send email.   He would like to have "FROM: hisalias@aliasdomain.com" by default.

So i've setuped his alias in Outlook, and also in the parameters of Gmail.com web site, to make sure it use his alias as default.  But Outlook keep showing "FROM: email@hisdomain.com".

Does anyone have something to suggest?  I've spent 2 hours on this and still not getting the expected result.

(and Yes, I've rebooted the tablet, multiple times)

Thanks!

Why you want to use Outlook app for GMail?

Have you tried to use Inbox app by Google?

It look like it's going to be an answer like that Jackie.  The only thing i wonder is why Microsoft have not made it properly since their application on iPhone perfectly support it.

Each time i write a new message, it always show FROM: MyEmail@WithAnAlias.com

They just screwed up on Android devices.   Thanks for your time.
