Recommendation vb6 to vb.net or others
Hi,
We have a programmer in vb6 and are thinking of moving to a newer development platform. We were considering moving to vb.net but wanted EE advice on the following:
- for a vb6 programmer, which developing platform is most recommended?
- is there a developing platform that we can consider that would include to convert vb6 to that platform?
Thanx in advance!

Any free software is probably limited or illegal, and you definitely don't want to convert VB6 to VB.Net.

Can we install Community Edition VB.net in a PC with vb6? Any consideration prior installing?

Thanx!
Prior closing the question; we understand what EE has said here that there is no actual good tool to convert vb6 to vb.net, but can you supply some links on the topic based on your exlierence? (That way we can review them and make a choice of direction)
Again thanx.
