Outlook 2016 - Pull mail from my provider's junk mail folder

Outlook 2016/Win 10:

Hi,

I have my outlook set up to pull email from my Time Warner (Spectrum) nyc.rr.com account. Recently, the Spectrum email incorrectly marked a legitimate msg (from my manager at my client) as junk mail. It never got pulled into outlook; consequently, I missed it until I happened to check my nyc.rr webmail, which i rarely do.

Is there a setting in Outook that would pull junk mail from my provider's webmail into the Outlook Junk E-mail folder?

PS- I am working with Outlook, not Outlook Express.

Thanks,
Steve

You can move the email for Junk to Inbox. (Click on the mail, select Move to and then move it).

You can set the Junk Mail Options  (type Junk in Tell me what you want), go to the Options and add the address to the Safe Senders lists.

@John,
Are you saying i should do the above in Outlook? Or in my nyc.rr.com email client? Thanks.
In Outlook.

If your web client also has a whitelist, you can (should) use that if the mail is also landing in Webmail junk.
The problem is happening before the mail gets to Outlooks....Webmail trapped it. I'll try to add to Webmail whitelist now.

Btw, do you recall where (in outlook) I had configured the settings to pull mail from Webmail? I'm hoping I'll find something that might pull tings in from Junk Mail.

Thanks.
Update:

I added my client's domain, experts-exchange.com (just in case) and email-winzip.com (b/c a couple of emails from them were flagged as junk.)

Perhaps, the lesson here is to check my Junk mail folder in Webmail daily... :)

Thanks!
