Print a large diagram over two pages
I have generated a floor plan and would like to print it to a specific scale. (In this case 1/4" = 1'). The plan "hangs out" over the end of my 11x17 paper. I would like to print the excess part and then physically tape the two diagrams together to provide a complete drawing.
I can't figure out how to get the excess part onto a page that I can print.

What drafting software are you using?
Here's how I do it.
First "print" the plan to PDF, using any available PDF writer. Win10 comes standard with one. Otherwise, use CutePDF or one of the many others available.
Then, using my favourite PDF viewer, PDF-XChange Viewer, print it after selecting "Tile large pages" or "Tile all pages" from the "Page Scaling" drop-down in the print dialogue box. You can also specify the amount of overlap between the pages.
