No problem, but if may ask, where do you see yourself going as a developer, do you like making websites, do you want to make applications? do you want to make video games?

I like making websites and Mobile Apps
I've found it's much easier to find work in web even though i prefer app development, but then again that depends on a 100 different factors, what i would do is jump onto a couple of job search engines like indeed and linked in and whatever else is pertinent to the geographic location you want work in and see what comes up what the salaries are and then start moving in the direction that suits you.
In software development as in most things in life it's a matter of balancing depth vs breadth; knowing more technologies/languages is nice but it's hard to find the time to become an expert in any one of them. that's why the best thing to do is start with the fundamentals become a very good programmer, the fundamentals are language agnostic and are the key to being a strong programmer. there's a book out there called "Clean Code by Robert Cecil Martin" however if you're really green you may find it a tough read, but if you've already got some experience academic or professional it would most definitely send you on the right track.

my best advice is, wherever you're working if you stop learning it's time to find a new job. the last thing you want is to wake up five years from now with skills that are no longer relevant in the job market, for example i got my first job because i knew Visual Basic 6.0; now i don't even put it on my resume.
