Is viewing a shared mailbox or public folder calendar on mobile device, tablet/phone along w/appropriate permissions possible?
No issues w/Outlook client. Customer would like for users to be able to use mobile devices to be able to view a shared mailbox calendar (Exchange 2010) on mobile devices and also be able to edit (if they have that permission). Is this even possible? I have gone back and forth with this customer and let them know this is not setup to work this way. Currently only 4 people have permissions to make changes to the calendar.
(I just found out they setup everyone's phone using the mailbox credentials and recently a bunch of calendar entries got deleted). I have done quite a bit of research online and from what I have read, this is not possible w/Exchange 2010. Is this correct? Thanks for any assistance.

You can only do this with the OWA App for whichever phone you have. You have to add the calendar in your Exchange server's OWA interface, then install the OWA app on the device and configure it. Once it's configured, it will show the shared calendar as an additional calendar on the calendar tab.

From what I have read, the owa app is only compatible w/365 and maybe Exchange 2013, but not Exchange 2010 correct?
