Need to set users home page in Microsoft Edge via a GPO
I need to have users home page default to our web page in Microsoft Edge. When I go into GPO, I don't see any entries for Edge.
Our DCs are still running 2008 at this point.
Do I have to add these somehow or how can I accomplish this?

Joe,
So our OS for now is still 2008 so is this the only way that we can set this up?

2008 is still fine to set this up. This feature was introduced in 2008/Vista.
But you could also just install RSAT on a Windows 10 machine and create the GPO from there - it would pull in the Windows 10 GP settings and you could then configure the homepage.

Ok when I go into the GPO I don't see anything for Edge..
Do I need to install something for that to appear?

Are you doing this on a Windows 10 machine directly?
By the way, the component name is Microsoft Edge and is located under Administrative Templates\Windows Components\
ASKER
Yes I looked there and I don't see anything Microsoft Edge..
If you select and then hover over administrative templates, does it say administrative templates retrieved locally?
ASKER
Yes it does..
