needing a program which can be freely downloaded for creating invoices
Hello and Good Morning Everyone,
I am needing a program which can be freely downloaded for creating invoices. If possible, I would like for any recommended invoice creating program to have integrated templates. I have tried MS Word and MS Excel for Office 2013, but, they seem to be a bit complicated.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for the insightful feedback provided in response to my question. After reviewing the information provided by Joe, I certainly began to redefine the mechanics of achieving my goal of creating an invoice. The stimulus behind this decision comes from my underestimation of the huge number of online templates available to use. Thank you so much Joe for opening my eyes to this. It certainly did make this project much simpler. In fact, I was able to edit the chosen template to match my invoice needs within MS Word 2013. It was simpler than originally thought.

I am wondering Joe how receptive the templates are to editing. For instance, will I be able to remove and insert columns, rows, and cells with ease? Also, are the templates coming from the internet or are they being pulled locally from the hard drive?
In closing, thank you very much for any attention and feedback given to these follow up questions. You have a great suggestion here :- ) I would like to follow up on it more.
