how can I minimize the chat window whenever Facebook opens?
Hello and Good Morning Everyone,
I am needing suggestions for minimizing my chat window whenever Facebook opens. Each time I sign onto Facebook, a window on the right hand side appears listing my friends who are online and available for chat. Unfortunately, this window is blocking some of the content of material being viewed on the main Facebook page.
Any suggestions for correcting this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your quick response to my question. Unfortunately, I never could find the Settings icon. However, there was an Options icon which matches the location given for the Settings Icon. When I did open it, there were several options which match your screen capture. But, I never did see the option Hide Sidebar.
On a positive note, I am happy to say this issue is resolved. It was actually easier to solve than originally thought. I simply clicked once on the blue toolbar titled Chat which resulted in the minimizing of it. To get it to reappear, I simply clicked once on it again. I feel silly for posting this question because the solution was so simple.
