intell dp67bg - not detecting all of the memory in bios
I seen several reports when I conducted a search on this but never a solution. Is there one?
I'm running bios version BGP6710J.86A
it is a core I5 - 2400
Anyway I have 4 2GBX2 sticks in my system which should support up to 32 gib
Its running windows 7 64 bit
The bios only shows 8 gig of ram and the ram is brand new. I even put the ram in another computer and it detected it just fine.
it is DDR3 dual channel
any idea how to get the bios to report the full 16. I don't suspect the board being bad but I guess anything is possible. I'm guessing it is more of a bios/chipset issue.
Can anyone assist?
