local printer not redirected in remote desktop session but works for a different user

Hi, got a report from one of our users that they were trying to log into remote desktop session to run a their shipping software and for some reason the local zebra label printer is recognized within the remote desktop session when logged in as a particular user but when they tried it as admin, printer not showing up. This is actually the first time they were trying this setup since they are in the process of moving offices this weekend and are keeping the shipping station pc in one location and need to access the remote desktop server which is running the shipping client. This setup has worked for years for their west coast office logging into the east coast remote desktop server but as mentioned this is first time doing it from one east coast office remoting into nearby other office. We have already disabled easy print on remote desktop server few years ago since that was what enabled west coast to print to their locally attached label printer properly. Thanks.

Ok we have actually done this already but this is the first time i've seen a situation where printer shows up for one user and not another. When i've worked on remote printing in the past either it works or doesnt work depending if as you mentioned the correct driver was loaded onto the remote desktop server. When i first set this up for the west coast office, i just logged into their pc then brouht up remote desktop session then loaded the driver onto the remote desktop server by going thru the add printer process and it didnt work at first since the default on the server is to use the easy print driver which was not compatible with the zebra label printer so i disabled the easy print which pointed the printer to the correct driver i had installed and then it worked.

Just restarted the remote desktop server now the label printer is showing up when logged in as admin so we are good, thanks for help.
