I'm working on clustering some hyper-v servers and when I run the pre-config tests, I get a report that tells me:<br />

Node 'host1.domain.org' is missing a virtual Ethernet switch 'HOST2-EXTERNAL' that is present on at least one other node. Either remove the virtual Ethernet switch from all nodes or ensure that it is present on all nodes.<br />
<br />
On host 2, there IS a virtual switch named HOST2-EXTERNAL, but I do not understand how I am supposed to get that virtual switch to show up in host1.<br />
<br />
There is this same error telling me the v-swithc in host1 does not show in host2 so apparently I have to have that resolved as well.<br />
<br />
How do I get the v-switch in host2 to show in host1 and clear this error before proceeding with the clustering?<br />

Hyper-V clustering

Hyper-V is a native hypervisor; it can create virtual machines on x86-64 systems and supersedes Windows Virtual PC as the hardware virtualization component of the client editions of Windows NT. A server computer running Hyper-V can be configured to expose individual virtual machines to one or more networks. Hyper-V Server supports remote access via Remote Desktop Connection. Administration and configuration of the host OS and the guest virtual machines is generally done over the network.
