New battery will not charge 100%

I purchased a new battery for an Hp G72 Laptop but it will not charge to 100%.  It stops charging at 93% and then says: "93% plugged in, not charging.   I did an update on the BIOS but that didn't help.  What could be the problem?

New batteries usually need a couple of discharge-charge cycles to recalibrate the battery controller. Please take your time for a couple of days and do them.

Sometimes it just the nature of the beast.

I have several laptops from Toshiba ,HP,Fujitsu,Dell that do the same thing, but all are in good working order battery wise.

I tried following the step on the hp support site but it would not give me the option to run the battery test, I attempted to download the hp support assistant but that didn't help either. I download an app called "batteryinfoview" to see if that would match the windows calculation and it showed the same as windows.  I changed the charger and it brought the battery to 95% and stopped.  I started with a drained battery last night and left the charger in all night with the laptop off and when I started it this morning it showed 93% not charging.
I have ran the battery through at least 6 cycles.
On the "new battery" part
I purchased this battery through amazon and this company and they advertised it as a new OEM Original Genuine battery and it has the hp logo on it just like the original.
