Hyper-V: Snapshot not deleted, VM in "Saved State"
Dear Experts,
The Hyper-V is running in windows server 2008 R2.
I have a VM with a snapshot associated with it.
To merge the snapshot we shutdown the VM in concern and tried to delete the snapshot.
The process did not complete, my guess on that is because of disk space was not enough, the drive had 50GB free space available, whereas the .vhd size is 33GB and .avhd is 60GB approx.
Now the VM state is showing "Saved"
when tried to delete the saved state / or start the VM giving error as below.
The snapshot file is still available
event viewer shows following errors
Any idea on how to fix this without making a bigger mess than this?
