Guest Wi-Fi Marketing solution required
Hi,
I would like to setup a guest Wi-Fi portal with a splash page along with social media, email registration and a form with few custom fields such first name, last name, mobile and email address options. We have two locations and following are the detail.
Location 1: Cisco Aironet 1140 AP's controlled by Cisco 2504 WLC, no. of AP's 15
Location 2: Cisco Aironet 1700 series AP's controlled by Cisco 2504 WLC no. of AP's 35
Both locations are also connected with Fibre so routing is not a problem.
All AP's and WLC is connected to a Cisco Core switch and from there it's going out to the internet thru a Firewall.
I am looking for a cost effective solution to achieve this. There are not many guests connecting to Wi-Fi and some of the AP's are located in warehouse, workshop etc which doesn't really required this feature. I tried searching few solutions online but either the cost is too high or they want us to change the infrastructure.

Thanks for your reply. Even WLC support the captive portal with configurable pages but this solution is not flexible and doesn't provide any reporting. We are trying to get a social wi-fi solution from marketing perspective, collect and analyze the data for business leads.

Can't you put a form on the custom page that posts the information to the server of your choice?

Looking for a solution similar or alternative to http://purple.ai/wifi-marketing/ with less cost. Even a wifi gateway on pre with supports our existing HW will do.

Guest air is basiclally a services that utilizes SonicWALL's guest services, but rather than buildingyour own portal they provide that for you.
Well, I know Aruba Clearpass does everything you ask here but not sure you'll like the price. Pretty sure you wont actually as you're looking at a few 1000 for the smallest virtual appliance.
clearpass has tons of options like that yes, but you indeed pay a hefty price for it.
