Hi,
tsm policies are usually configured with number of version that rule retention, although you can set time retention parameters with options Retextra and Retonly.
Basically you have 4 parameters: VERExist, VERDelete, RETExtra and RETOnly which are well expained in the following link:
https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21224145

Which of the four above parameters will be processed first depends on your schedulation frequency and on how many times the files are changed.

Second problem for you is that a policy set must always have a default management class which is active.
This means that if you have different directories on the same node with different retention policies, you must set a new value into the dsm.opt file of the node.
Precisely, you should create the 2 different mgmt class, for example MC_3_months and MC_2_years and link them accordingly.
For example, in your dsm.opt, you should add the following lines:

INCLUDE "G:\Data\*" MC_3_months
INCLUDE "G:\Mes\*" MC_2_years

hope this helps

Max, Thanks for your response: currently, i have this schedule:
Policy Domain Name: PD_FILES
Schedule Name: VWARPASVQUIR1
Action: Incremental
Options: -subdir=yes
Objects: D:\app\Oracle\ F:\Backup_Oracle\
Priority: 5
