Exchange 2013 is remembering disabled mailbox
Exchange 2013 remembering disabled mailbox
I have an exchange 2013 mailbox with address Myname@mycompany.com
the mailbox has been disabled accidently..then the email administrator created a new mailbox with the same address.
Myname@mycompany.com. after one day , the old mailbox that was disabled has shown up in disabled mailboxes list in Exchange, so the administrator disabled the new mailbox and re-enabled the old one.
Now customers when they email me to Myname@mycompany.com, they get the email bounced back..
Any help to resolve this issue ?
Thank you

Deleted and recreated outlook profile, did not fix the issue
The only way I tested the fix from a co-worker outlok was going to his outlook /option/mail then under "Send Messages" section ,
clicked "Empty Auto-complete list"
But there should be equivalent of this option in Exchange server, instead of calling everyone and tell them to do that in their Outlook
