VM Properties is greyed out.
Hello,
I edit the properties of a ESXi 5.5 VM trying to add more harddisk. Everything is greyed out.
There is no backup running.
Please advise if you know what might be the issue.

Yes, delete that snapshot and you will be able to edit the properties of the VM.
1. Take a new snapshot.
2. Wait 12 seconds.
3. select DELETE ALL.
and WAIT and Be Patient....

Right click on the Vm and Click Snapshot - - consolidate .
When you are unable to extend disk and if the disk extension is grayed out, it is a sign that you are running on a snapshot.
Just that it. Consolidate or take a snap and then consolidate..
