VOIP System

We are launching three remote sites within next 3 years. I am wondering what will be the best option for phone system.  We currently have Shoretel Onsite, and going with Shoretel Hybrid or Online is bit expansive. What are the other option I should look? Any input from expert out there will helps me.  Thanks in advance!!

If you are looking for a hosted solution, I would recommend 8x8, which I have had clients love. Appia you could look at, but I know their SIP trunks, not their hosted solution.

For onsite? (can be multi-tenant as well) Brekeke
As far as onsite systems go...

Other than the fact you have multiple sites, also depends on your requirements. I've known people who used an enjoyed Avaya IP Office systems. I've worked more with 3CX, which has been fine, even though their licensing is probably one of the bigger annoyances. Features are a bit lacking, but constantly evolving too.

Thanks for all of you. I will look into 8x8 see if it fit for us. Have anyone experience with Yealink? it seems that cost of the phone and features are pretty reasonable.
I can refer you to a sales rep at 8x8 who should be able to answer all of your questions, especially for the number of phones you're talking about. Just PM me for the information.

I've used Yealink T48G phones... they work wonderfully. I used them with a 3CX system, and originally started with Snom phones. For reasons of better compatibility and some issues with intuitiveness to users, I ended up trying Yealink. Even the older person in the office loved the phone and had an easy time learning it. So much so, she wanted to be the one to teach a new employee that came later. Everyone else who got them enjoyed them as well. So as a result, the Snom phones started to get phased out of the office.
"phased out" are you saying you have two phone system at some point and get rid of old phone system? That may be what I need to do. How the directory work?

masnrock, Thanks for information. 8x8 give clear answer for me but I am not going with 8x8 nor Shoretel Cloud since the cost of going into cloud is bit expansive for us.
No problem.

I will always encourage you to look at multiple angles:

1) upfront cost (phone ports, training, etc)
2) cost over a time period. Say 5 years. With your own PBX, there is the factor or either a consultant or the time of whoever handles the PBX, which I assume is you. Licenses and support can be costs as well.
3) features
4) number of users

No wrong answer, as it varies on a case by case basis, but solely basing on upfront cost is what tends to be a mistake.
