Delete duplicate Data from Access 2016 Query
I'm attaching a sample database which has a problem resulting in duplicate data. If you open the attached db and run the FinalJoinedTable query you will see that I get duplicate data for employee Anderson. What am I doing wrong.
If you use an inner join between two tables (or queries) that have the same person twice, you are going to get duplication. What is your expected output here? It appears that you have each person twice due to their being differences in the TlbTWClean table in the assignment field (highlighted above by chaau). And also you have the same person in QryJoined due to differences in the PayCode field.
It's always easier to help if you explain the situation and/or show your expected output.

If you look closely at the data you will see that the data isn't entirely duplicated. The assignment column for the employee you highlighted is different.
Yes that's what I said. that's why you're getting doubled up entries.
