Replacing a server/domain controller

I have a client with an old Windows Small Business Server SBS 2008, which I will be replacing in the next three weeks.  I'm replacing it with Server 2012 R2 and won't be running Exchange on the new server.  The old machine is a domain controller, DHCP server and DNS server.

It is for a very small company (10 people).  In addition to file sharing, the new server will be a domain controller, DHCP server and a DNS server.  That's pretty much it.

What I'd really like to do is set up the new server off site with the same domain name (xyz.local), same IP address (192.168.x.x), and restore user files from a current backup.

Question: If I remove the old server and replace it with the new server, same machine name, same IP, same domain name, will the workstation Windows 10 Pro computers log onto the domain without issue? Or will all workstation Windows 10 PCs need to be removed from the domain and then re-joined?  My supplier is telling me that the existing Windows 10 PCs will log onto the domain with no issue at all once I put in the new server/DC.
