asked on

impossible to connect to ex2013 from forein domain

Hi Experts,

I have two domains both located to my LAN.
Domain.at has EX2013 installed -> ResourceForest
Domain.info has some outlook accounts -> AccountForest

In my case it is not possible to connect outlook from ACCOUNTFOREST to my RESOURCEFOREST.
On the network I can ping from any client to the server.
What is missing ?
Do I need a special receiver connector ?

I have test with a two way trust and without.

Now the trust is still enabled.
Please help me out, what can I test with you ?

PING from client to server is OK.

Hi,

receive connector/ or send are not used for Outlook connection.
Maybe you are missing autodiscover record, and Outlook cannot find required Exchange? Have you tried to configure Outlook 2013 manually?
Take a look at this topic on how to configure it manually, and then see if it works: https://www.experts-exchange.com//questions/28930828/Trying-to-setup-outlook-anywhere.html

PS: This will not work on Outlook 2016.

Useful link, take a look: http://msexchangeteam.in/linked-mailbox-in-exchange-server-2013-part-1-2/

Regards,
Ivan.
Lol, i forgot to ask that, but as suriyaehnop said, you did create linked mailboxes for users?
My environment is still in COEXISTENCE and I found out, when I use the old name of the mailboxserver 2007 then it works.
any news ?
