Mac OS X - Quickest way to delete a folder & all 35000 files in it
I often have to delete a Mac folder that will typically contain 30,000 - 35,000 small files. Takes forever.
Is there a utility (I am thinking safer) or a Linux/OSX terminal prompt command that will just erase a folder & everything in it without going thru it & deleting file-by-file?
I don't need the folder nor the files in trash, I just need to completely wipe it out.
