Unable to upgrade to .Net 4.6.2 on Server 2012r2

Good Morning,

I have a Sage 100 Contractor client that need to have their .Net upgraded/updated to .Net 4.6.2.  Currently, they have .Net 3.5 (with 2.0 & 3.0), and 4.52.  When I try to install 4.6 or 4.6.2, I'm blocked and told the "update corresponding to KB2919355 needs to be installed before " I can install this product,  This partially installs and then states it's not for my OS.

This is a VM hosted on Hyper-V Sever 2012r2.  I've been running in circles for a month, now the client NEED this to work for end-of-year things.  (Workstations are working fine, but the backups of Sage are not).  I am not a Sage guy, nor has Sage been any help even with the customer's service contract.

Any magic or knowledge would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom.  This is my first questions, but I'm a 5+ year subscriber.  One of my guys did post and was a little rude -- it wasn't me).

Shaun, you rock.  Key elements were item 1 & 2 from the link.

1. To apply this update 2919355, you must have the update 2919442 installed on the computer.

2. The updates must be installed in the following order: clearcompressionflag.exe, KB2919355, KB2932046, KB2959977, KB2937592, KB2938439, and KB2934018.

I don't know if Sage is working properly, but after following the instructions, .NET 4.6.2 installed.

Thank you
