How to Migrate my VMware to my ESXI 5.5
Hello Experts,
I currently have a my VMs hosted with a company called www.baremetalcloud.com. They're a good company, however I no longer need my VM hosted in the cloud. However, I would still like to access the VMs locally on my PC. Therefore, I would like to build my own ESXi and move all of my VM's to my ESXi server.
Currently, my VM's look like the image below:. Can someone let me know how I go about migrating the images? Is it only achieved by taking snapshots of the VM's or can I move everything to a new ESXi in one shot?
Cheers
Carlton

They'll all work, depending on how much access, and how much speed you have to and from the Cloud.
Snapsnots are not backups, but you can Export/Copy/Move/Migrate each VM to another ESXi Host, VMware Workstation VM, for use with VMware Workstation/Player.

Hello Andrew,
You're guides are working a treat.
So, I'm exported the VM's. Now, I would like to run the VM's on an ESXI 5.5.
Is it possible to install ESXi 5.5 on a Windows machine? If not, can you let me know how / where to run the newly exported VM's ?
Cheers
