Send As permissions on Exchange 2010

Hello Experts. I have Exchange 2010 standard in my Environment. I need to give an employee Send As permissions for them to be able to send as another user. This user already had Send As permission for the mailbox in question, and was able to send as that user before, but it stopped working. I double checked, and it is configured right. So i removed the permissions, and applied them again...still no success. this user is still not able to send as the other user. I tested with a test mailbox, applied the same permissions, and it worked. it is just is not working for that particular user. How can i further troubleshoot this? Is there something blocking that mailbox from sending as the other user? Please let me know.

First Check from OWA if Send As working from OWA or no ?

Post the results.
Have you restarted information store service or no ? Just restart once .

If the same fails from OWA than try to give Send As perssions manually  from Active directory

Following steps will help you to do this,

If you open the user in AD (after enabling Advanced Features in AD by going to View -> Advanced Features)...under the security tab you can add the user that is trying to send as and give them "Send as" permissions.

There are few cases observed where granting "send as" permissions through EMC did not take affect immediately.

Hello, thank you for responding. I have tested through OWA, and still cannot send E-mails from that other users E-mail address, gives permissions error. and I have checked in AD, and the Send As check box is selected for this particular user in the security tab. Any other suggestions would be really appreciated...thanks.
Can you please provide exact error which you are getting this will help us to find the exact resolution.
I have attached a pic of the error. The Generating server is my Exchange Server. Let me know. Thanks.
Incase the attachment did not load, this is the message:

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
Test Account
You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so. Please make sure you're sending on behalf of the correct sender, or request the necessary permission. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.

Diagnostic information for administrators:
Generating server: My Exchange Server.

Thanks
The attachment is missing can you please send it once again.
Ohh got it.

You can not have both permission at a time.

Send on behalf + send as both at about time will not work.

Remove send on behalf permission and then check the issue.
Hi Viral, I have checked and verified that the Send on behalf of is not set. the user is not added to both, only added to Send As. Could it be that this permission is being carried over from somewhere else because in AD, under advanced permissions settings i see 'include inheritable permissions from this objects parent'? Let me know. Thanks
Remove using this steps ,

Exchange Management Console (EMC)

Go to Recipient Management and choose Mailbox
Choose the mailbox and choose Properties in Action Pane
Go to the Mail Flow Settings Tab and choose Delivery Options

Select the user and click Remove and then Ok
