help finding a laser multi-function fax/printer (that's supports send/receive by email)

small business, prints maybe 500-750 ppm. using faxage and need a fax/printer that supports faxing to an email address (as well as receiving).

trying to stay in the $200-$300 range.

was looking at the lexmark mx310dn but reviews arent to glowing on it. not really brand loyal. don't want color. just something i can plug in, configure and hope to get a year or 2 out of it with minimal issues.

wow yeah that was dumb of me, i meant pages per month. as in not going to be a high volume printing machine. main feature is to be able to fax directly to an email address and obviously receive faxes from an email address. ill check this one out now

Question: scan to email
Answer: Yes. You can scan a document directly into your default E-mail application using the ControlCenter Software you install on your pc or from the Scan button on the printer and then selecting the computer on your network where you want the attachment saved to email later. It doesn't send via email directly from the printer (that I know of). You still have to send it using your email client on your pc. see less

not sure if someone can vouch for if the machine can send directly to an email address from with the machine and not have to use a computer. thx much
